First Mold Trial
After assembly, conduct a first mold trial, strictly recording molding parameters, ejection stroke, and finished product condition.
Inspect for defects such as flash, weld lines, shrinkage, and warpage. Adjust parting line clearance, cooling time, or venting location based on defect location.
Fine-tuning and Mass Production Debugging
Injection Parameter Optimization: During the trial molding process, optimize injection speed, pressure, and holding pressure curves using the Design of Effect (DOE) method to ensure stable molding.
Automated Monitoring Integration: Integrate mold assembly data with the injection molding machine monitoring system to achieve real-time mold temperature and pressure monitoring, improving subsequent changeover efficiency.
Regular Maintenance
After each batch or every 5000 pieces, it is recommended to perform mold calibration and ejector/guide bushing inspection, promptly replacing worn parts to maintain assembly accuracy and molding consistency.
